Lately, quilting has become her go-to hobby, adding a fun new twist to her everyday life.

Meet Mark, a seasoned member of the Indigo Events family since day one. Mark’s lens is his storyteller’s quill, and he excels in capturing the grandeur of large events, the heart of corporate narratives, and the essence of striking portraits. Beyond photography, Mark is our go-to gear specialist, always ready to assist the team with their equipment needs and geeking out over the latest gear innovations. When he’s not behind the camera or amidst the gadgets, Mark is Toronto’s ultimate taco connoisseur, offering expert advice on the city’s best taco spots. Meet Sasha, the quiet force behind the scenes at Indigo Events. While he’s retired from photography, Sasha has seamlessly transitioned into a role that’s just as vital—leading strategy and driving growth. He’s currently focused on expanding Indigo’s presence across North America, both in Canada and the U.S., building the foundation for new service locations and future opportunities. With a sharp eye for potential and a steady hand guiding the vision, Sasha ensures the company stays ahead of the curve while the photographers and creatives focus on their craft.

A creative visionary with a background in product design, Calvin brings a thoughtful and intentional approach to photography. Specializing in large-scale events, corporate branding, and impactful storytelling, he transforms moments into visual narratives. With a calm and reassuring demeanor, Calvin has a unique talent for drawing out the best expressions and emotions from those in front of the camera. Whether it’s crafting compelling business portraits or capturing the energy of a corporate event, his work reflects his eye for lasting visual impressions. A passionate foodie, Calvin plans his travels around trying new dishes and dreams of opening his own restaurant one day.

Meet Roei, our maestro of corporate storytelling, headshots, and events. Roei’s true passion lies in connecting with people, whether it’s through his lens or over a delicious meal. A world traveler with an adventurous spirit, he brings diverse perspectives to his work. Roei’s culinary skills are exceptional, and he’s known for whipping up gourmet delights. As the first point of contact for clients, Roei’s knack for pre-planning ensures that every job runs smoothly. Now, as our Operations Manager, he’s also focused on making our internal processes more efficient—improving the experience for both clients and the team.

Meet Navid, our post-production manager who brings every photo to life with sharp attention to detail and a creative touch. You’ll also find Navid behind the camera, especially when capturing clean and professional headshots and he thrives in fast-paced, large-scale corporate events. Navid originally started out just as a photographer, but quickly discovered his knack for editing. What began as a few touch-ups has grown into managing full post-production workflows. Known for his savvy technical skills, he even once dabbled in hacking camera firmware just for fun. And when he’s deep in the zone and you catch his intense stare, don’t worry—it’s not a glare. He probably just left his glasses at home.

Meet Shiloh, our Director of Marketing, who leads the charge in telling the company’s story with purpose, creativity, and strategy. She brings nearly two decades of experience building brands and shaping marketing for some of Canada’s largest organizations. Along with that expertise comes a contagious energy and enthusiasm she brings to work every day. Shiloh thrives on collaboration and communication when working with others to elevate ideas and create big things. And while marketing is her day job, she’s also known for her crafty side—sewing clothes and crocheting amigurumi for her family and friends.

Born and raised in the Maritimes, Maya moved to Toronto in 2014 to pursue photography full time. After graduating from Seneca’s Photography Program, she began her career as a photography educator before stepping fully into the world of commercial and editorial work. Since then, she’s built a reputation for creating fashion-forward, magazine-quality imagery that elevates every brand she works with. As Creative Director and Photographer at Indigo Events, Maya brings a sharp eye, refined style, and collaborative energy to every shoot—whether it’s a large-scale production or a fast-paced event. When she’s not behind the camera, she’s likely out walking with her husband and teacup pup, “Teddy” or trying out a new fitness class.

Meet Lisa, a photography virtuoso with a passion for portraits and product photography. Lisa’s superpower lies in her innate problem-solving abilities, making her a true go-getter who thrives under pressure. Her unwavering composure and cheerful disposition ensure that she approaches every challenge with a smile. While Lisa’s expertise spans various photography genres, she particularly excels in events and portraits, showcasing her mastery of the craft. Beyond photography, Lisa’s love for globe-trotting takes her on adventures to explore diverse cuisines worldwide. She also plays a key role as our Studio Manager, keeping everything organized, on schedule, and running seamlessly.

Meet Vincent, our photographer and project coordinator who brings enthusiasm and a contagious smile everywhere he goes. His journey started with casually snapping photos as a hobby and grew into a career where he now handles all kinds of photoshoots with expertise. Today, he not only captures great moments but also helps make them happen by managing projects, prepping teams, and keeping post-production running smoothly. Known for his infectious energy and easygoing vibe, Vincent is always up for anything—whether it’s a marathon, a new sport, or dancing at a music festival.

Meet Taylor, one of our videographers with a background in film sets and movie shoots. He brings that cinematic eye to every project, especially when working events full of movement, excitement, and connection. His goal is to film in a way that feels both natural and dynamic, and he’s known for bringing the same energy behind the camera as he does to the room. Outgoing and upbeat, he’s the type to hype people up and keep the good vibes flowing on set. Outside of work, Taylor stays active through calisthenics and workouts, always finding ways to stay sharp and inspired.

Introducing Shahin, the creative genius leading our video production team. Shahin is the mastermind behind the camera, orchestrating storyboards, generating innovative concepts, assembling talented teams, and solving any challenge that comes his way. His charismatic presence and infectious smile put everyone at ease, making him a natural leader. When he’s not immersed in Indigo’s projects, Shahin can be found filming music videos and concerts around the world, showcasing his boundless passion for visual storytelling.

Meet Ira, a photographer with a sweet, bubbly personality and an unstoppable dedication to getting the perfect shot. She picked up a camera at a young age and hasn’t put it down since, always drawn to capturing life as it unfolds. Ira is known for going the extra mile, often bending into the most unexpected positions just to get the angle just right. Whether it’s a big milestone moment or a quiet candid one, she’s always ready with her camera in hand, capturing the emotion, energy, and sparkle of every scene.

Meet Glensius, a photographer who brings an editorial edge to every event. With a background in design, fashion, and commercial work, he has a sharp eye for clean composition and impactful storytelling. Meet Aleigh, our marketing coordinator who loves crafting fun and engaging content that highlights both the brand and the team. With a background in fine arts and business marketing, she brings a blend of creativity and strategy to everything she does—and always with a smile. Aleigh thrives on collaboration and gets excited about brainstorming with others to spark fresh ideas that keep things dynamic and impactful. She even dabbles in creating film herself, not quite at the same professional level as the team’s work, but she enjoys making personal recipe videos when she cooks and bakes to share with family and friends.

Meet Canon, a photographer who brings a unique blend of logic and creativity to every shoot. He got his start covering events back in high school and continued through university while studying business. After photo school, he honed his skills assisting on commercial sets and learning studio lighting firsthand. Today, he balances events, weddings, and commercial shoots with ease. He approaches each project with intention, artistry, and a hint of mystery—and on that note, he tells us he knows the sound of one hand clapping, but he’ll never reveal the secret.

Meet Kayla, our photographer with a keen eye for both the big moments and the quiet candid ones in-between. She’s always been the one with a camera in hand, capturing friends’ parties, portraits, and everyday life with her kids. What began as a personal passion has grown into a career she genuinely loves. Kayla thrives on the energy of each shoot and she loves witnessing and experiencing moments wherever the job takes her. Whether its blending into the background or stepping in to guide a scene, she adapts to each shoot with ease. And if there’s country music playing, you can bet she’s right in her element – smiling and grooving behind the camera.

With a background in wedding photography, Anastasiia’s expertise extends to a wide range of events, from corporate gatherings to team photoshoots. Meet Ashlyn, a photographer whose passion started when she was a kid roaming around the schoolyard with her camera, snapping photos of anything that caught her eye. Today, she brings that same curiosity and care to every shoot. Ashlyn loves the storytelling side of photography—capturing real moments, genuine emotion, and the little details that make each event unique. Her calm and friendly approach helps people feel at ease in front of the camera. She even personally brings toys for kids at photoshoots to add a bit of fun and make the day extra special for everyone.

Meet Margo, a photographer who can do it all from capturing corporate events and brand activations to professional headshots or team portraits. She started in fashion photography, sharpening her eye for lighting, composition, and storytelling. Over time, Margo shifted into event and brand photography, blending her skills in creative direction with a calm and approachable style. A big fan of film photography, she loves the craft and often carries a film camera with her. She also has a spot for vintage markets, never able to resist hunting for hidden gems and unique finds.
